Higgins Wedding March 2017

This couple decided to have their wedding reception the day before the ceremony. They had their reception in an LDS cultural hall decorated with draping to disguise the venue. The lights were dim and so many of the pictures were taken with a flash. Overall the reception was beautiful and a great way to celebrate such a special weekend with family and friends.

This couple was so sweet with each other. After getting tips on how to cut the cake from the groom's mother they carefully fed each other their first bite of cake. I love a couple that doesn't smash cake in each others faces.

The bouquet toss ended in all the eligible women scrambling to catch the bouquet that went over everyone's head. This cutie was the one that ended up catching. I really hope she is not the next one to get married!

There are some of my favorite images from the reception of the couples "first" dance. They are so perfect for each other!

The wind was blowing so hard when the couple came out of the temple that the veil was either flying up or flying away. After a few shots the bride took it off. The grooms younger brother had some fun "trying it on."

The brides and her little cousin have a really special bond. After some grumpy faces from little "H" she decided that she too wanted to hold the bouquet.

Oh how much I love black and white photography!

The bride and her mom, sister, and sister in law. So Cute!

Following the ceremony the family got together to have lunch and celebrate with toasts. Here are some of my snaps from that event.

A "cheerio" farewell
